Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts Presents BAM! STEAM Fest: A Celebration of Education, Innovation, and Environmental Awareness

Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts is pleased to present the Class Acts Series’ latest installment: BAM! STEAM Fest, scheduled for Thursday, April 25th, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM on the Mahaffey Theater plaza.
BAM! STEAM Fest, ( “BAM!” is an acronym representing Books, Art, Music), is a collaboration between the St. Pete Innovation District and Clearwater Marine Aquarium. This innovative event celebrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) through interactive exhibits, workshops, and presentations. Emphasizing marine science and conservation, BAM! STEAM Fest merges education, innovation, and environmental awareness to inspire the next generation of thinkers and problem-solvers.
The educational series’ provided by the Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts is free to students throughout the Tampa Bay six-county area. Each themed field trip is designed to foster connection, creativity, imagination as well as social emotional learning.

Emerging artists get to show off talent at Gasparilla Festival of the Arts

More than 200 artists from across the country will be showing off their talents, and for a few of them, it will be their first show ever.

Raul Darriba of Tampa has been sculpting his own artistic style of furniture for the past ten years.

“My furniture is made so when you see it from afar, it grabs your attention, and as you come closer, you notice all the details,” said Darriba.
